PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER (ELECTRONICS)

Job Summary

To supervise, set up and run Production lines.
To support the Production Manager in the management and running of the Production ShopfloorPrimary Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the team whilst running Production lines.
Ensure products are assembled and tested efficiently and productively.
Focus on high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring product is delivered to the exacting and consistent quality standards and on time and in full.
Maintain good workplace organization, such as 5S and visual management and implementing and managing KPIs.
Ensure the line runs smoothly and efficiently and take necessary remedial action to rectify when it looks like the line is faltering or stops.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our production operations.
Be supportive of other team members.
Support the Production Manager in the management and running of the shop floor.

Competencies

Able to manage conflicting priorities and copes well under pressure to deliver on tight deadlines.
Have good working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S techniques.
Be able to supervise and manage others.
Possess good interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate good communication skills.
Possess good understanding of the type of products manufactured within the cell.
PC literate

37 Hours a Week (Full Time):

Week 1 Mon to Thurs 07.30 to 16:30 (30 min lunch 15 min tea break AM and PM) Fri 07:30 to 13:15 (15 min tea break AM)

Week 2 Mon to Thurs 07.30 to 16:30 (30 min lunch 15 min tea break AM and PM)
