Overview
FS Recruity are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor required to join a multidisciplinary contractor to support them with multiple projects nationwide.
Client
Our client is a strong player in the Fire and Security industry with projects and maintenance contracts all over the UK. They are actively recruiting for several positions but have a strong focus on Assesors in or around the Midlands right now.
Role
The Fire Risk Assessor will carry out fire risk assessments across education projects nationwide.
Fire Risk Assessor Qualifications and Experience
* NEBOSH Fire Safety Qualification minimum
* Experience of undertaking/reviewing Fire Risk Assessments
* Knowledge of current and incoming UK fire safety legislation
Responsibilities:
* To undertake fire integrity / compartmentation surveys to identify breaches, proposed remedial repairs through to preparation of specification and design
* To provide quality & technical monitoring on construction projects
* To provide fire safety advisor role to assist our clients with their property portfolio
* To review contractors' proposals on construction projects and provide comment on suitability for the intended purpose
* Ensure a high level of communication and time keeping throughout
Person
* Strong Communication skills
* A good understanding of up-to-date Building Regulations and the Fire Safety Act
* A methodical, professional, and pragmatic approach
* Ability to organise your workload
* Commitment to health & safety and risk management
Remuneration
Job Types: Full-time permanent
Pay: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
