IFS Technical Consultant - Midlands

My client are going through a surge of growth currently and they are seeking an IFS Technical Consultant to bolster their impressive IFS applications and technical team.

You will be responsible for configuring and customising the IFS Cloud system to meet the unique requirements of our client's business. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing and implementing solutions using the developer studio, and integrating IFS Cloud with existing systems. The suitable candidate will have a solid understanding of reporting tools, custom events, menus, fields, and PL/SQL, along with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that drive business success.

IFS Technical Consultant Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Configure and customise IFS Cloud using developer studio, including custom events, menus, fields, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations between IFS Cloud and other systems using industry-standard integration tools and techniques.
• Design and implement reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the implementation life cycle.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of customisations and integrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing and customising IFS Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of developer studio and proficiency in configuring custom events, menus, fields, and workflows.
• Experience with integrating IFS Cloud with other systems using APIs, web services, or Middleware tools.
• Solid understanding of reporting tools and techniques, with the ability to design and implement reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and other database technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
