We are looking for a motivated Impact Assessment Analyst to join a Economic Business Case & Impact Assessment Team. In this role, you will contribute to analysing the social, environmental, and economic impacts of emerging technologies across various sectors, including mobility and urban development. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is leading innovative research and providing insights into the effects of cutting-edge products, services, and technologies, with a strong emphasis on decarbonization and social well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis throughout different stages of project life cycles, from securing funding to supporting feasibility studies, pilot projects, and large-scale trials.

As a member of the Business Case & Impact Assessment Team, you will collaborate on multidisciplinary projects involving engineers, data scientists, planners, software developers, environmental experts, social researchers, designers, and a wide range of external partners.

Skills and Experience required

• Degree in economics or similar.
• Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present complex analysis in clear, high-quality written reports.
• Experience with the UK's Green Book' and Magenta Book' for evaluation.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct economic impact analysis on various innovations.
• Design Impact Assessment Work Packages and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Apply social value economics evaluation and appraisal techniques.
• Perform impact mapping, data analysis, and research to meet project needs.
• Produce reports, analysis, and case studies for dissemination.
