Major Recruitment are searching for Mechanical Fitters for our client based near Oldham. These vacancies are full-time and permanent for the right candidates.

Duties include:

Assemble Pump and Mixer equipment
Fitting components to engineering drawings and technical specifications, making sure all components are fit for purpose
Conduct production tests
Operating machines and using hand/ power tools to secure parts
Recording work for tracking purposesHours of work and pay rate:

Monday to Friday on a 2-shift rotation, 36 hours per week
Monday to Thursday - 6am till 2pm/ 2pm till 10pm
Friday - 6am till 12pm/ 12pm till 6pm
£36,188.57 per annumSuccessful candidates must have:

Time Served Apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, equivalent to City and Guilds Level 3/ NVQ Level 3
Mechanical Fitting experience, specifically in machinery building, valves and compressors
