Major Recruitment are searching for CNC Machinists for our client based near Oldham. These vacancies are full-time and permanent for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Operate and program assigned machines to manufacture parts according to the drawing specifications in the most efficient manner
Conduct inspections on production runs
Read engineering drawings and job orders to determine job requirements
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
Perform basic maintenance on equipment
Perform any other tasks and duties as needed by the business adhering to all Health and Safety proceduresHours of work and pay rate:

Monday to Friday on a 2-shift rotation, 36 hours per week
Monday to Thursday - 6am till 2pm/ 2pm till 10pm
Friday - 6am till 12pm/ 12pm till 4pm
Night shift may also be required, Monday to Thursday - 10pm till 6am, Friday - 6pm till midnight
£36,206.06 per annum for 2 shift rotation, £37,465.40 per annum for 3 shift rotationSuccessful candidates must have:

Completed a Time Served Apprenticeship within a CNC machinist discipline, equivalent to City and Guilds Level 3/ NVQ Level 3
Experience operating a variety of CNC machines
Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls
