Days Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary £44,000 – £46,000
Are you an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer with a background in FMCG or the food industry, seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team at their Lincoln Fresh site.
Our client is a large national business undergoing large growth within the industry, specialising in producing high-quality products. They are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fault finding, problem solving, and both planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to enhance reliability and performance.
Respond to internal customer needs to optimize production time according to set priorities.
Adhere to food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is executed correctly and safely.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately, ensuring it is audit-ready.
Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote health & safety and operational efficiency.
Maintain and repair a range of manufacturing, production, and packaging machinery.
Rotating shifts: 3 / 4 days (Wednesday-Saturday)
Qualifications/Requirements:
Be an apprentice trained engineer with a formal electrical engineering qualification.
Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG.
Utilise a proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop.
Have experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding would be essential.
Ideally trained to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Engineering
18th Edition Electrical
IOSH qualification
Experience in PLC fault analysis would be preferred
