Learning Support Assistant required – Coventry – £90 – £100 per day

This exciting Learning Support Assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Coventry.

This rewarding role is to start September 2024 and will be ongoing until further notice.

Learning Support Assistant responsibilities and duties:

– You will be required to support KS3 and KS4 students, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, with various degrees of SEN difficulties.

– You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour.

Learning Support Assistants of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role you should have:

· The relevant qualifications to work in a teaching environment with SEN students.

· The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

· Previous experience providing support and assistance to SEN student, and strong classroom management skills or experience dealing with challenging behaviour.

Learning Support Assistant Salary and Benefits:

· Competitive rates of pay from between £90 to £100 per day (AWR Compliant).

Additional requirements:

· Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

· Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
