Fabricator/Mechanical Fitter

Bristol

£17.08-£21.35 Per Hour depending on shift

Accommodation allowance Up to £800 per month receipted and treated as an allowance so subject to Tax and NI if candidates lives over 75miles from site.

Fabricator/Mechanical Fitters or Mechanical Assembly Operatives required for a well renowned multinational manufacturer who have a fantastic reputation within their industry. They are a brand associated with quality, they offer a varied role with a great benefits package.

The role would suit fabricators, mechanical fitters, mechanical technicians, mechanical assembly operatives who have experience working to and interpreting engineering drawings. Applicants must have experience within a manufacturing environment working to ISO:9001, AS 9100 standards or similar.

The role will involve the use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products. You will work to manufacturing/engineering drawings to ensure that components are assembled to customer specification and to a high quality standard.

The Fabricator/Mechanical Fitter Role:

*Use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products

*Use of jigs to assemble parts made from stainless steel, titanium or aluminium

*Measuring machinery and jigs

*Fitting/Swaging

*Working closely to engineering drawings and customer specification

*Working to high quality standards

The Person Required:

**Must have Apprenticeship with Level 3 City and Guilds or Level 3 NVQ

*Can transfer from a fabricator, mechanical fitter, mechanical technician or mechanical assembly background

*MUST be able to work to and interpret engineering drawings

*Must have previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

*Security clearance will be necessary
