Social Housing contractor looking for Kitchen and Bathroom fitters to carry out refurbishment work in South London.

All properties are local to the Depot in Stockwell

INTERVIEWS TO BE HELD IN STREATHAM OR EPSOM

Carry out Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishments to Social Housing properties
To ensure that all Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishments and associated repair works are carried out within the allotted time frame, are to a very high standard and quality, and match the agreed specification provided for each installation
To ensure that all customer homes are maintained to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met
To ensure that all works are completed within the agreed target
To provide exceptional levels of customer service
To carry out refurbishment works of all customer homes in accordance with current Building Regulations and
Installation experience with aids and adaptions/wet rooms.
Isolation of water for the alteration to hot and cold pipe work, fitting new stop cock and isolation valves if required
Identify hidden pipes and cables and marking their location.
Carry out internal decoration of Bathrooms and any additional separate WCs.
Carry out Wall tiling.
Assembly of Cabinets, base units, fitting bath frames and installing bath panels, boxing in of pipe work.
Removal of debris after work
Assemble and install kitchen in domestic and commercial installations to include all associated Carpentry, Plumbing, tiling, decorating and general building knowledge
The removal of existing kitchen and safe storage & supply temp sink
Take delivery of new kitchen inc checking quantity and damage
To fit cupboards, drilling door for fitment of handles, fitting drawers, plinths and trims including edging strips, fitting worktops (masons mitres on some occasions)
Marking out for sink, hob and then cutting worktop and fit sink and hob
Measure and cut the worktops, recesses and joints
Measure and mark the areas of work in accordance with the agreed plans of layout and design
Isolation of water for the alteration to hot and cold pipe work for the installation of sinks, washing machines fitting new stop cock and isolation valves if required etc.
Identify hidden pipes and cables and mark their location
General plastering and filling of walls.
Carry out internal decoration to ceiling, walls and skirting when required
Carry out wall tiling
Relocation of pipes and points where needed like stop cock, isolation valves for new position of sink
Assembly of Cabinets, base units, boxing in of pipe work
Re install appliances and adjust as necessary
Removal of debris after work.
Permits, working at height, abrasive wheels and electrical and gas

8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)

PAID on 40 hours
