We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Leeds. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a high rise projects
**Job Description:**
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the financial aspects of projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
* Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
* Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably for a Tier 1 main contractor
* Strong knowledge of construction costs, procurement, and contract law
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Chartered status (MRICS or FCIOB) or working towards it
