A unique and cutting-edge automotive technology company in Kidlington who is continuing to expand, creating opportunities across the business are looking for an Electrical Build Technician to join an excellent team. The company is continuing to expand, creating opportunities across the business with plenty of scope for career progression.

As an Electrical Wiring Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the electrical department. This role will see you specify and build electrical harnesses and components for our bespoke vehicle and "kit" builds - both HV and 12V harnesses as required for the build.

Key Responsibilities:

Build 12V looms and harnesses

Build HV looms

Build ancillaries (fuse boxes, controllers etc.)

Build electrical components as required

Quality inspection of bought-in looms and own work

Documentation of builds

Any other tasks as defined by the company in a fair and reasonable manner

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in:

Wiring harness and loom assembly

Wiring of ancillary items such as fuse boxes etc

Specifying loom lengths, routing and retention.

Reading and understanding electrical engineering drawings, schematics and pinout tables

While having:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Impeccable attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

HV battery systems & Bespoke vehicle builds

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

Salary offered is between £28 - £30k, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm, plus onsite parking
