Waking Night Support Workers (Level 3 - Children)
Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour (DOE)
Location: Devon
Permanent, Full-Time / Part-Time position + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a newly opened children's home, is deeply devoted to creating an enriching and stable space for the growth of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. They are seeking Waking Night Support Workers with 2 years of experience to be part of their dedicated team.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive holistic care to children, contributing to their growth and development. Some individuals may exhibit challenging behaviors, hence your solution-oriented, adaptable, and empathetic approach will be pivotal.
You will be responsible:
Assist in shaping the lives of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
Contribute to the team and adapt effectively to dynamic challenges
Offer assessment for short- or long-term support for young people aged between 8 - 18 yrs
Work night shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring support continuity
What we arelooking for:
Possess at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people
Previous experience with children and young people is essential
Hold Level 3 in Childcare & Youth Work / Health & Social Care
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
Display moderate to high computer literacy
Hold a valid UK driving licence
Shift:
Timings from 9:30 pm until 7:30 am
40 hours per week and 30 hours per week
Weekends and bank holidays
