Salary - £44,375 - £50,329 per annum
Location - Portsmouth
Hours – Permanent, Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern – 09:00 -5:00, with one day being 07:00 – 7:30 (can be discussed at interview)

Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for males with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together we are seeking a Ward Manager - Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) for their male high dependency, mental health hospital based in Portsmouth.

As a qualified Ward Manager / Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ), you will ensure younger males in this high dependency, mental health hospital receive high-quality care, while also leading your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. Caring for conditions including psychosis, bipolar disorder, self-harm, substance misuse and sexual offending.

Providing community – focused rehabilitation services within a full care pathway, working across two wards.

Requirements

A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN )
A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A minimum of two years of mental health / acute / PICU / forensic / low - high secure / NHS or private experience
Strong team-working skills
A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
