Your new role
Working on infrastructure schemes along the A47 corridor, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on site. As Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of their projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Main Duties:
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports.
Conduct cost analysis and risk management.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost control.
Monitor project progress and prepare valuations.
Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor accounts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide support to project managers and site teams.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.
Understanding of NEC4 Contracts
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
