A Senior CAD Surveyor opportunity to join an in-house property department. This role involves providing specialist architectural technical guidance and design input and ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
Purpose:
Act as a Senior CAD Surveyor, offering expert architectural technical guidance.
Collaborate proactively with the wider team.
Liaise effectively with other company disciplines to uphold the reputation of the Estates department. Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining consistency in drawing standards, layout, and styling.
Conduct measured building and site surveys using traditional techniques and modern LiDAR-based scanning tools.
Produce CAD drawings for surveys, schemes, planning packs, working drawings, presentation drawings, and legal plans.
Design and specify new build and refurbishment projects in line with current guidelines, standards, and regulations
Provide advice and ensure effective communication and implementation of processes.
Adhere to health and safety standards.
Ensure effective teamwork and support colleagues.
Respond to emergencies, supporting business continuity and disaster recovery.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Record and report business activities accurately. Person Specification:
Confident in undertaking measured surveys and site information gathering.
Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills related to measurement and drawing.
Strong interest in keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulations, and technological advancements.
