Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Royston
Contract Length: 6 months

As a Sales Administrator you will oversee the complete order management process from initiation to delivery by collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders.

As a Sales Administrator your duties will include:

Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and they receive an outstanding level of service.

Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with multiple departments, including Engineering, Planning, Production, and Quality, to gain a comprehensive understanding of order status.

Proactively communicate with customers regarding potential delays or issues to manage expectations.

Address and resolve all inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Coordinate with logistics partners and courier services to arrange shipments.

Manage inventory availability for demonstration units by coordinating logistics for each item.

Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to stay informed of current operations.

Maintain and distribute weekly open order reports specific to each customer.

Process invoices and credit transactions weekly to ensure financial objectives are met by month-end.

Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team Lead to achieve key business performance indicators.

Engage in projects focused on process improvement and organizational change.

Provide support for spare parts management.

The successful Sales Administrator will have the below skills and experience:

Experience working in a customer service function

Proven background in sales administration including sales order processing

Experience working within manufacturing desirable but not essential

Experience working with SAP desirable but not essential
