Our client is a market leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area.
The successful Commercial Administrator will be responsible for carrying out all administration associated with customer and internal contracts, ensuring that all contracts are compliant with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities – Commercial Administrator
Process customer purchase order requirements in the company ERP system and tracking progress until sales orders are generated.
Issuing formal acknowledgments and providing regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders.
Evaluating contractual terms within customer purchase orders to ensure compliance, consistency, and risk mitigation.
Generating and delivering quotations to customers via the company CRM tool,
Supporting the Contracts Team Lead and/or Contracts Manager in preparing and submitting proposals as necessary.
Collaborating with other departments to deliver quotations and updates to customers efficiently.
Maintaining an accurate and easily accessible filing and archiving system.
Qualifications & Requirements – Commercial Administrator
Educated to Bachelors degree level or equivalent ideally in business management or contract law or similar.
Previous experience in a customer environment, or contracts and commercial operations.
Proficiency in utilizing SAP-ERP systems.
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet tight customer deadlines.
Exceptional communication abilities.
Comprehensive understanding and application of contract clauses such as warranties and remedies.
Familiarity with and application of UK and US Government regulations.
