General Operatives
Salary: £11.44+
Hours: Various Shifts
Contract: Temp to Perm Position Available
Generation People is currently hiring for and working with several well-established companies based in Chesterfield, and due to this we are looking for a number of General operators and assemblers for various clients in and around Chesterfield.
We are looking for someone who can work in a sometimes fast-paced environment and can produce a high standard of work, as our clients works in various sectors.
Daily Duties for General Operatives include:
* Assembly of products to bespoke designs and client specifications.
* Working on the bench and/or operating various machinery
* Quality checking own work
* Operating various hand tools
* Assisting with packing and despatch of completed products ready for delivery.
* Adhering to health and safety procedures
* Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
* Any other associated duties within this role
Candidate Requirements:
* Conscientious and hard working.
* Experience in assembly, manufacturing or production work would be advantageous.
* Must have good hand-eye coordination & attention to detail.
* Team Player and able to work on own initiative
