Client & Capital Strategy Associate
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our Client & Capital Strategy team within the Central Portfolio Management function. The successful candidate will play a key role in deal profitability modelling and the creation of client plans to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to various client and capital initiatives across the EMEA region, including deal approval committees, account planning, sector and country reviews, and non-core portfolio reviews.
- Collaborate with the Front Office to develop client plans and profitability models for use in deal approval processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in client and deal profitability modelling, providing pre-screening of client plans, advising the Front Office, and offering recommendations to aid decision-making.
- Analyze client and portfolio profitability, providing insights and recommendations to the wider Central Portfolio Management team and the Front Office.
- Compile and distribute deal approval minutes, monitor action points, and report outcomes to senior management.
- Work with the Client Analytics team and the Front Office to design, develop, and produce client and portfolio dashboards.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or a related financial services environment.
- A relevant degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and create complex financial models.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in drafting procedures, presentation materials, and other necessary documentation.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate data efficiently.
- A strong team player who is a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills.
