Finance Business Partner| 6 months (Inside IR35)| Hybrid (Scottish Borders)|

Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a 6 month contract.

Main Responsibilities

• The role involves leading the Financial Management service for the organisation.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining robust budgetary control, offering expert financial advice, and providing management information to ensure the organisation meets its statutory financial targets.
• Collaborate with the organisation's partners to support the achievement of strategic goals and to translate financial outcomes and actual expenditures into management reports for the Joint Executive Team and Board.
• Play a critical role in IJB financial planning, including the preparation of management and final accounts, as well as handling regular internal and external reporting and returns throughout the year.
• As a senior finance staff member, the postholder will be expected to take on strategic portfolio or project leadership roles and/or contribute significantly to organisation-wide development initiatives beyond their functional responsibilities.
• The postholder will support the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Officer in the development of the IJBs Financial Recovery Plan.

Key Skills

• Positive personal behaviours and attitudes to support co-operative and partnership working within the Organisation.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills. Especially with complex financial modelling using Excel including the development of bespoke spreadsheet models and preparation of financial reports including visual presentation of financial data (charts, etc.).
• Excellent Stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbally.
• Extensive experience in all or most of the following is required: financial management and accounting, budgeting and budgetary control, financial modelling, costing and preparation of Annual Accounts.
