SAP Basis Administrator- Hirschau, Germany- Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global electronics and electricals wholesale organisation in their search for an SAP Basis Administrator to join their growing SAP team in Hirschau on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of SAP systems on-prem and development of expertise relating to SAP on Cloud
• Administration, optimization and monitoring of their SAP systems (ECC, EWM/TM, SAP Frontend, BTP and Solution Manager) and their interfaces as well as databases including backup and restore
• Carrying out installations, upgrades, enhancement packages, release changes, Kernel updates, system and client copies
• Active co-design of future-oriented software systems and system architectures
• Carrying out transports, user administration and processing support requests, incidents, service requests and changes
• Support in the design and implementation of SAP authorization management
• Design and dedicated collaboration in the project team for the future S/4 HANA transformation of the system landscape
• Participation in on-call duty and weekend assignments

Experience required:

• At least 4 years of professional experience
• Practical experience in the SAP administration environment
• Basic knowledge of programming in ABAP
• System knowledge of the relevant databases (Oracle, MaxDB and HANA) and the Linux operating system
• Solution-oriented, structured way of working and a strong willingness to learn
• High sense of responsibility, commitment and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills in English and German (B2+)
