Job Responsibilities/Objectives
in this role, you will drive the development of our Digital Infrastructure Ventures and assist in building our deployment team. You will take on overall project management for Network Level 3 within our network department and further develop our project management functions and team. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and approving construction performance.
1. Project Responsibility: Ensuring the timely, budget-compliant, and quality expansion of districts (NE3) in an IT-oriented infrastructure company.
2. Coordination: Efficient management of service providers (NE3, NE4, site inspections) to achieve project goals.
3. Resource Planning: Setting goals and distributing tasks for construction supervisors and service providers.
4. Quality Assurance: Monitoring adherence to quality standards and ensuring digital documentation by construction supervisors and service providers.
5. Regular Steering: Weekly coordination with service providers to ensure project progress and digital documentation.
6. Communication with Authorities: Responsible for coordinating with municipal authorities (eg, VRAO, road construction).
7. Escalation Management: First point of contact for construction supervisors regarding issues and delays.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Entrepreneurial Thinking: Ability to manage projects with a goal-oriented and economically efficient approach.
2. Experience in Project Management: Proven track record in project management, preferably in fibre optic expansion.
3. IT and Digitisation Knowledge: Proficiency in IT tools and experience in digital documentation.
4. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and develop teams and coordinate external service provider
5. Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong in communication with various stakeholders and competent in escalation management.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
1. Telecoms background
2. Construction background
3. Product management
4. Product sales background
