We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team in creating precision tools and machinery components. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by producing high-quality tools and ensuring their proper functionality.
Duties
- Utilise hand tools and machinery to fabricate, grind, mill, and assemble various tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tooling solutions
- Maintain and repair existing tools as needed
- Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Possess knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Experience in tooling, fabrication, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks software
- Knowledge of plastics injection moulding techniques is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and precision skills
