Our client is a Mechanical & Electrical Design Consultancy who work on a diverse range of exciting projects including commercial developments, high-end residential buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, and data centres.

Due to continued growth they are now looking to hire a Principal Mechanical Engineer on a full time basis for projects in London.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Develop innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering designs in line with client requirements and industry standards.
Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to optimise system performance.
Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
Participate in client meetings, presenting design solutions and progress updates.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and quality assurance procedures.Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with significant experience in a consulting environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, simulation tools).
