SAP FICO Consultant - RTR Specialist (Pharma Industry)
Location: Cherrywood, Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: 18-Month Contract (4 Days On-Site per Week)
To support our ongoing projects, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Record-to-Report (RTR) processes to join our team in Cherrywood, Dublin.
Position Overview:
As an SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on RTR, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the financial operations of our pharmaceutical client. You will work closely with finance, controlling, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP FICO solutions are aligned with the specific needs of the pharma industry. This role requires on-site presence in Cherrywood, Dublin, four days a week, allowing for direct collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP FICO and RTR Expertise:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions, with a focus on Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial reporting standards, particularly those relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Optimize financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end activities, to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Financial Integration and Process Improvement:
- Integrate RTR processes with other SAP modules (eg, MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless financial operations across the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the RTR domain, including implementing best practices for financial management.
- Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance (if applicable), ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
-Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure that all SAP FICO processes adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including GxP, IFRS, and local GAAP requirements.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure that all financial processes and systems are audit-ready.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain robust internal controls and mitigate financial risks.
Ongoing Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO solutions, including troubleshooting, system enhancements, and user training.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to ensure continuous improvement and system stability.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting experience, with a strong focus on RTR processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, particularly in regulated environments.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in SAP FICO modules, including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
- Strong understanding of RTR best practices and financial reporting standards (IFRS, local GAAP).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
