Contract/Project
Proactive Personnel are currently looking for FLT Drivers to start work in Preston, PR4 area on a 12 week Temp- Perm basis.
Duties include-
* To ensure that the efficient delivery of correct raw material and packaging into the factory and accurate despatch of finished goods into the Company fleet or storage facilities.
* To load and unload dispatch vehicles as requested
* To clean outer packaging prior to delivery to the factories
* To offload incoming raw material for the factory when requested to do so
* To keep the yard safe and presentable.
* To keep appropriate records as required by the factory manager.
* To be responsible and reliable in all aspects of work.
* To be food safety conscious at all times and comply with good manufacturing practices at all times.
* To be quality conscious and aware at all times.
* To take responsibility for their own tasks.
* To comply with all company hygiene regulations and observe other guidelines in respect of hygiene and health and safety issues by the company.
* To take responsibility of Health & Safety for themselves and those around them under the Health & Safety at work Act 1974
* Working to BRC standards
Hours are 6am till 4pm & 4pm – 2am. The role will require the successful applicant to be flexible in their approach to the working pattern. It will involve, days, nights and weekend work.
Due to the location of the factory, candidates must have their own transport.
