Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator with a strong background in estimating HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

* Bid Management: Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project scope and requirements.

* Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.

* Risk Analysis: Assess project risks and provide value engineering solutions to optimize costs and improve project outcomes.

* Documentation: Prepare and present bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documents.

* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating with a focus on HVAC projects.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, FastPIPE), and strong knowledge of HVAC systems and industry standards.

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
