Senior Inventory Controller
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Onsite)
Salary: £40,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage global inventory, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of materials across multiple locations.
Industry Expertise: Leverage your experience in the metals industry, particularly within aerospace, to optimize inventory processes and contribute to strategic goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Inventory Manager and cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to align inventory strategies with business needs.
Policy Adherence: Promote and enforce company policies related to FIFO, inventory levels, and scrapping, driving improvements in inventory turns and utilisation.
Reporting: Provide critical inventory data to management, aiding in monthly and quarterly business reports.
Global Travel: Be prepared for occasional travel, including international trips, to support global operations.
Requirements:
Industry Experience: Strong background in the metals sector, with specific experience in aerospace being highly advantageous.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring adherence to policies and the timely achievement of goals.
Analytical Ability: Proficient in conducting cycle counts, managing aged stock, and overseeing scrap processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
