CK Group are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a company in the Metals industry at their site based in Chesterfield on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client designs, manufactures and installs transformative technology for the aluminium manufacturing industry.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Chesterfield. This role will require regular travel to client sites domestically and internationally.
Process Engineer Role:
Your main duties will be:
Providing equipment design, testing, installation and commissioning services to clients.
Leading projects to design and install new equipment at client sites.
Designing process equipment, facilities, control systems and ancillary components.
Full project management responsibilities from client briefings through system design, installation, commissioning and handover.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A degree level education in Chemical Engineering.
Significant experience in a projects focused role within chemical manufacturing, ideally in the metals industry.
Great experience in process and equipment design (i.e. mass & energy balances, pressure drop calculations, heat transfer design experience, developing P&IDs etc...).
This role will involve significant travel so they must have a UK drivers license, a valid passport and the willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
