Are you seeking a new challenge where you can support adults with severe and profound learning disabilities within a residential and supported living environment? Do you have experience of working in a similar setting and as a Senior Support Worker?

Working for an established and expanding provider of care and support to adults with severe learning disabilities and complex needs we are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join their team.

The role:

As a Senior Support Worker you will be responsible for the running of the shifts and supporting the Support Workers.
Ensuring the smooth running of the shifts, providing support to adults with learning disabilities supporting with daily living skills, personal care needs, administering medications
Supervisions of staff, 1-1s,
Accurate report writing and updating records
Adhering to policies and procedures and dealing with any safeguarding concerns
On call duties
Working on a rota basis which will include the hours of between 8am - 22.00.Ideal candidate:

Someone with experience of working within a similar setting supporting adults with complex needs and learning disability.
Supervisory experience and flexible to work on a rota basis
Flexible to work on call and occasional weekends
Pro active and with a positive attitude
Willingness to undertake any training and team players.
Car drivers with own vehicles
NVQ level 3 or equivalent The Good bit:
