This is a Software Development Team Lead position working for a dynamic business based in Stowmarket who are offering 50% remote work.
The role involves managing a dynamic team to rapidly deliver and support software solutions that meet business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of developers and support specialists, setting goals and driving performance.
* Rapid Development: Implement agile methodologies to accelerate software delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Support & Issue Resolution: Oversee support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and testing to maintain high standards.
* Technical Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and optimise processes.
* Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to align objectives and provide regular updates.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
* Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and suggest improvements.
Experience & Knowledge:
* Technology: A proven track record in the full software development lifecycle, especially with enterprise-level software solutions and Microsoft technologies (.NET VB & C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, React, RESTful APIs on a SQL Server backend).
* Software and Architecture Design: Experience designing enterprise-level applications to meet business demands.
* People Management & Leadership: Effective leadership of team members to achieve agreed goals.
* Software Support: Knowledge of best practices in software support.
* Project Management: Understanding of project management and governance.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience with an excellent benefits package
