Albion Search are working with a highly regarded regional house builder to appoint an Architectural Technician to work within their Product & Design team, focusing on the coordination of their core technical working drawings and associated details for tender purposes and construction.

The client are looking for candidates ideally from the house building/residential sector, with proven experience in an architectural technician role previously. It is also essential that candidates have a construction related degree or equivalent HNC/HND.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Managing the external supply chain for third party details such as heating, ventilation, trusses, joists, staircases to ensure effective delivery

* Working with consultants to an agreed programme for SAP calculations & Part O assessments

* Managing & maintaining business standard details

* Maintaining existing Revit models to agreed BIM standards

* Responding to site queries and resolving technical/construction issues

* Managing the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval including type approvals where necessary

* Ensuring that working drawings are in accordance with the approved planning scheme

* Working with the Commercial Department to monitor and manage costs and budgets

* Ensuring the customer-facing materials are technically compliant
