Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Senior Director Network Infrastructure Engineering. Candidate will have a broad range of IP Networking technologies, design and strategy across campus, WAN, datacenter with a strong focus on software defined networking. Is able to demonstrate competencies and functions to ensure that the people, processes, and technologies are all operating efficiently and effectively across the network product suite.

Responsibilities:

Ensure network compliance to reduce risk

Drive technology modernization programs

Drive operating model development and alignment

Deliver on key critical BAU initiatives

Assess network capabilities to ensure operational and security risks are identified with a plan to mitigate

Ensure network technologies have appropriate licenses and support levels

Drive product and services roadmap discussion

Works cross-organizationally to deliver complex technical solutions.

Looks for methods to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity, reduce costs and improve control measures

Works closely to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the team

Works with leadership team to attract, recruit and retain talent

Collaborates with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the network organization

Demonstrates a willingness to tackle new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

12+ years related work experience

Shown professional experience with operational and organizational management, leadership of teams and enterprise-wide technology strategy

Possess good interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with small and large groups of business partners and senior leadership

Knowledge of technology trends and developments in the areas of Network and Network Security, and knowledge and experience with formal security and control frameworks such as ISO, NIST, COSO, and ITIL
