Risk Manager

A leading tech company are looking for a Risk Manager with strong experience in 1LOD to join the Data Risk team and provide monitoring and reporting of the Data Risk profile, including Data Management, Data Privacy, 3rd party management, model management and Data Ethics.

Ideally you will have experience in Data Risk, however, we are happy to upskill providing you have strong delivery experience in risk management and 1LOD.

This is a permanent role based in Peterborough with hybrid working model of 10 days per month in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of Data Risk position and reporting against the progress of appropriate risk mitigation activities.
• Maintenance of data risk framework
• Champion risk management across data management and data privacy
• Work with the data protection office to ensure regulatory requirements are reflected
• Operate as the 1LOD

Experience required:

• Experience in financial services or any other highly regulated industry is required
• Qualification or relevant experience in risk management
• Awareness of data and data privacy is ideal
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
