Working within Vehicle Dynamics for a major UK automotive brand, you will conduct vehicle objective test activities on a range of vehicles, collecting, processing and desiminating data required to deliver leadership in vehicle dynamics against world-class competition.

The ability to understand vehicle and system performance is critical to increasing customer satisfaction and to reducing time to market by providing accurate data to guide vehicle development activities. As part of this role you will arrange steering and handling test activities. To be successful, candidates will need to possess a high level of drive and be capable of independent working to tight deadlines.

We are looking for candidates with proven vehicle or rig test experience. Practical experience of vehicle test data post-processing techniques and hands-on experience of vehicle instrumentation.

Candidates will have experience with data processing tools such as Matlab and with instrumentation such as Racelogic, OXTS, Ipetronic, Vector, Kistler. Vehicle dynamics subjective evaluation skills and experience of problem solving tools eg Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving, Design of Experiments and knowledge of relevant virtual tools such as Simpack, Carmaker, Matlab/Simulink.

Formal driver training for above friction limits testing. A full UK or equivalent driving license will be requires for this role.
