Position: Care Coordinator
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 9am to 5pm (on-call in addition)
Location: Bedford
About the Role:
AYG Care is excited to recruit on behalf of our client, a highly reputable and well-established domiciliary care company known for providing exceptional care services. We are looking for a dedicated and professional Care Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day care of clients, creating a supportive environment, maintaining the highest standards of care, and ensuring compliance with Fundamental Care Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily management of assigned clients.
* Ensure that care provided is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
* Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients and their families.
* Investigate complaints and implement appropriate solutions.
* Collaborate with CQC inspectors during inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Keep all client documentation, including care plans and risk assessments, current and accurate.
* Manage carer placements and contracts effectively.
* Conduct regular spot checks and update the care planning system as needed.
* Handle accident and incident reports with appropriate follow-up.
* Regularly communicate with carers and clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK (NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE).
* Confident driver with a valid license.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage emails efficiently and maintain an organized filing system.
* Experience in liaising with professional bodies and inspectors.
