gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to work at their facility based near Warrington
Performance Objectives
We are looking for an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to join our current Engineering Team. The position will be based in the production hall, currently working a 3 shift pattern (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00) Sunday to Friday.
Responsible for breakdown situations, planned preventative maintenance and planned shutdowns
Continuous improvement, working within the team to strive to continuously deliver performance improvements
Key relationships will be the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders and the Engineering Team
The role will be part of a three man team, covering the whole production Hall, Process Plant and ServicesPerson Specification
Apprentice trained
HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Experience within a packaging environment preferred, but not essential
Extensive knowledge of electrical, automation and PLC software, ideally Siemens S7
Experience of working in a challenging quality and customer focused environment
Experience of high pressure situations where decision making may be required with little supervisionApply
