Currently looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to join a leading housing developer based in the Warwickshire area. All current projects and sites are located within 50-60miles of the office in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities for both Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor -

Costing: Accurately pricing the costs of materials, labour and equipment required for each project and submitting quotations for works. Ensuring scheme costs are correct on the system and raising queries where necessary.
Tender Preparation: Preparing and reviewing tender documents
Supplier and Subcontractor relations: Liaise with operational staff, including clients and subcontractors. Attending internal / external meetings when necessary and fostering good relationships. Manage the subcontract supply chain, issuing orders and the processing of payments.
Contract Management: Administering contracts and variations ensuring compliance.
Cost Control: Implementing effective cost control measure to optimise project outcomes.
Project Reporting: Regular reporting on financial progress, potential risks and cost saving opportunities to management.
Budget Management: Collaborating with Project Managers to establish and maintain budgets throughout the project life cycle.Additional benefits for both the Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor -
