Facilities Manager Role

Salary Circa: £50,000 - £55,000PA
Location: Wallsend
Shifts: Day Shift + 2-3 days working hybrid

Skills & Requirements of a Facilities Manager:

* To have worked within a similar role, managing facilities or building regulations – to have managed and lead facilities change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities

* Respond to major facilities issues and raised EHS / Facilities cases

* Work with local authorities and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with lease agreements

* Experience of leading and working upon projects. This role will be a 90% office-based role, whereby you would be reliable for the success of driving the team forward to success, as well as setting up new projects and factories. But there will be an expectation of being hands on, when it is needed.

* Exposure of managing building regulations, compliance and health and safety requirements

* Good communication skills – able to communicate and have experience of working and liaising with other departments

* To have managed department budgets and raise approvals / sign offs for capital investments

Responsibilities of a Facilities Manager:

* To lead projects, this may include many things such as new lines, new factory set ups, new electrical systems being out in place.

* Exposure of managing building regulations, compliance and health and safety requirements

* Good communication skills – able to communicate and have experience of working and liaising with other departments

* To have worked on department budgets and to have exposure of approving sign offs would be beneficial to this role
