IO Associates is looking for a HSE Advisor to join their client's team. The HSE team is dedicated to fostering a positive culture that emphasizes all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment. As a HSE Advisor, the resource will thrive in a positive work culture that prioritizes Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects and keen to contribute to client's continuous improvement journey!
Job Title:- HSE Advisor
Location:- Bristol, Southampton or Gliucester (Hybrid onsite working)
Duration:- 10 months
Up to 175 per day inside IR35
BPSS/SC cleared
Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities:-
- Examine HSE management systems inside.
- Give new hires thorough health and safety orientations.
- Participate in steering committees, working groups, HSE meetings, and other forums to support continuing initiatives for improvement.
- Lead or take part in HSE investigations as necessary.
- Oversee the platforms and requirements for HSE training.
- Occupational health, display screen equipment checks, and other necessary adjustments should be coordinated with HR.
- Help with Eco Online reviews and make sure that employee and environmental data is entered accurately.
- Assist in organizing and carrying out external audits, encompassing management standards ISO 45001, 45003, and 14001.
- Make sure that HSE-related records and artifacts are properly managed and stored so that they are accessible by stakeholders
Skills required:-
- NEBOSH HSE certification (required or aspired to) competence with HSE management systems in operation.
- Knowledge of the legislative instruments and resources (such as the websites of the Environment Agency and the HSE) for decision support.
- strong sense of competence and when to offer counsel.
