Position Purpose: 

Assists with the planning, organization and management of the daily operations, maintenance and testing of a wastewater system. Ensures compliance with established environmental, safety, operating, and emergency response procedures. Maintains ongoing client interface to keep Client informed and enhance client relations.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Order and follow up on spare parts. Create requisitions in Ariba (Purchasing System).

Provide high level of oversight to the operations and maintenance leads.

Provide Administrative oversight of the CMMS program. (Jobs Plus).

List, organize and prioritize critical needs and operational issues.

Provide operational support to nearby facilities if needed.

Oversee lab operations and validate data.

Assure that the PCMP program is being followed and recommend updates as needed.

Review and validate Hach WIMS data entry.

Help implement process control policies, procedures and directives to improve plant performance.

Continually monitor processes to assure compliance with NPDES reporting requirements.

Verify accuracy and train operators on all plant instrumentation. (Phosphax unit, PH, Nitrate, DO and Chlorine analysers).

Monitor chemical dosing to improve usage and meet cost saving initiatives.

Monitor plant safety requirements to include MIR, Job Observations, Site Specific safety reviews, and proactive safety and leading indicator logs. Participate in all facility Audits.

Set up training schedules for new hires.

Develop refresher training schedule for critical plant processes. (Dewatering, GBT, Denitrification and Disinfection).
