Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join us in testing solutions for Insurance/Reinsurance risk modeling. You will be responsible for testing the software in an AWS environment. We are looking for a strong technical candidate with significant hands-on experience and skills who can collaborate with like minded individuals in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment. 

Analyze feature requirements and design specifications to create test plans and test cases, execute and validate the test results; ensure the product meets all feature requirements.

Review epic overviews to create detailed test strategy documents.

Create, debug and fix automated unit, integration and end to end tests.

Create a robust daily, smoke, acceptance and regression test repositiory.

Discover, debug, document and verify software anomalies.

Evaluate test results and track feature status using internal tools/processes.

Escalate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner.

Address queries from Product Owners, Scrum Team Members and the Client Servicing team with regards to our software products in a timely manner.

Identify capacity bottlenecks, suggest & implement solutions for process improvement.

Responsible for software risk identification, escalation & mitigation.

Provide QA metrics as required.

Be the scrum team point of contact from a quality assurance perspective.

Contribute to the training of new hires.

Work collaboratively with a global team.
