Title: Civil Land Development Engineer III (8-12 years of experience)

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Salary: $100-$130k DOE

Overview:

We're in search of an experienced Civil Project Engineer with a minimum of eight (8) years' experience to join an expanding Land Development team located in Greenwood Village, CO. This role allows for a hybrid setup, giving the selected candidate the option to work from the office or home, as needed. Additionally, relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Design various development projects including commercial, residential, and mixed-use, along with associated infrastructure such as roads and drainage systems.

Independently execute design tasks, review others' designs, and prepare bid documents under limited supervision.

Contribute to strategic planning, project management, and team growth initiatives.

Prepare comprehensive project studies, reports, plans, and cost estimates.

Manage small to mid-sized projects within budget and schedule constraints.

Direct and mentor design teams while overseeing project execution.

Assume full project ownership, communicating effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.

Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in decision-making and project execution.

Possess strong interpersonal skills for client and agency interactions, project presentations, and written communication.

Requirements

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.

Minimum 8 years of experience in designing commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects.

P.E. (Professional Engineer) certification in the State of Colorado or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.

Proven track record of leading project teams successfully.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Eagerness for personal and professional growth within a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD 3D.

Experience in land development projects, preferably in the Colorado Front Range area.

Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.

Work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
