Role Purpose: The Production Manager will oversee daily operations, driving high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency across the facility. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the company’s objectives, ensuring good manufacturing practices, and fostering a strong food safety culture. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in food manufacturing, particularly in the meat industry, and who is looking to take on a role with real influence over the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire, motivate, and lead Production Supervisors and factory operatives to create a positive, efficient, and dedicated team environment.
Promote the company’s objectives and play a key role in moving the business forward.
Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and welfare standards.
Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed to provide a safe working environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead corrective actions, and manage the achievement of KPIs.
Take a lead role in audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with BRC, RSPCA, and Red Tractor standards. Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in a Production Management role within food manufacturing.
Level 3 HACCP & Level 3 Food Safety in Manufacturing.
Strong understanding of BRC, RSPCA, and Red Tractor standards.
Health & Safety awareness.
ILM Leadership & Management (or equivalent) certification is preferred. Reward & Benefits:
