Electrician - Testing & Inspection
Location: Wakefield
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Working Hours: 07:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking to expand our Electrical Testing & Inspection Team in Wakefield. We are looking for motivated individuals who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our electrical testing and inspection contracts. This role involves performing routine testing and inspections, as well as assisting in the development and management of contracts to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical testing and inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Assist in the development and expansion of electrical testing and inspection contracts.
Monitor and report on the progress and quality of inspection and testing activities.
Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection.
Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination.Required Qualifications:
City & Guilds Level 3: Apprentice trained in an electrical engineering discipline (Essential)
City & Guilds 2391: Or an equivalent qualification in Testing & Inspection (Essential)
18th Edition Electrical Qualification: Up-to-date certification required (Essential)Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Experience with systems such as SAM FM (Desirable)
Higher National Diploma (HND) / Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering: Advanced qualifications in electrical engineering (Desirable)
Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) / Safety Passport: Certification or training in occupational safety (Desirable)If you meet the qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply
