Diagnostic Technician

Location: Bruntingthorpe/Coventry

Salary: £39,363 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting a Diagnostic Technician on behalf of our client for their sites in Bruntingthorpe and Coventry.

About the Role: You’ll spend most of your time working on vehicles, handling everything from basic services to complex diagnostics, including electric vehicles (EVs). The rest of your time will be spent dealing with warranty paperwork and making sure everything’s in line with manufacturer guidelines.

What You’ll Do:

* Work on vehicles, doing both mechanical and electrical repairs.

* Carry out diagnostics and fix issues, including EV work.

* Manage warranty claims and keep the paperwork up to date.

* Help your teammates with diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

* Keep track of your time and make sure work is done efficiently.

What You Need:

* At least 5 years of experience with a specific vehicle brand, including EV work.

* Good understanding of how vehicles work and how to fix them.

* Able to follow processes and work to deadlines.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
