Pay: £11.44 per hour, 4 days x 4 hours

Working hours 9.30am - 1.30pm with opportunity with extra hours, working every other weekend

Length: till mid-November, might be extended

Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for an experienced temporary Cook.

The role is to cater for approximately 30 meals a day (cook, prepare and serve meals and make sure service are delivered to a high standard, and that set policies and procedures are adhered to), prepare weekly menu, set up the service area for meals.
Washing up of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, ensuring good Health and Safety, COSHH practices, Safer Food Better Business.

We are looking for an experienced cook with Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, who has a sound understanding of current food hygiene practices and legislation, knowledge in preparation and cooking of healthy, high-quality meals for a range of customers needs, great team player, working as part of wider catering team, flexible to work when required via a rota system (every other weekend)

Successful applicants will be subject to Enhanced DBS Check and referencing before employment commences. Interviews will be held by telephone call, following with a visit to meet the Care Manager.
