Role: Principal Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

Salary: £50k - 65K + Medical + benefits

Overview

This is an opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading engineering firms. Boasting offices all over the world and operating on huge frameworks and infrastructure schemes within the MOD, Aviation, Energy, Nuclear, Government Advisory, Water and Defence sectors. They work on the forefront of digital technology and sustainable implementation for all projects.

Projects aside, they are market leader when it comes to Salaries, Progression, Flexibility & Benefits! Resulting in a very low turnover. They are currently seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their Exeter office to lead projects centred around HVAC designs.

Role

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to lead projects, liaise with clients/contractors, complete site surveys and develop existing engineers.

Ideally you will have:

8+ UK Years' experience within a building services consultancy.
A Mechanical Engineering degree or building services related (BEng/BSc).
Experience with Design and Delivery of projects as a Mechanical Engineer.
Hold a CIBSE Chartership
Experience with producing project specifications, suitability, and design monitoring.
Have a working knowledge of Hevacomp/Prodesign, / Revit, AutoCAD
Extensive experience with client liaison, site visits and meetings.
