Job Description
Main responsibilities will be:
Maintain monthly and quarterly bookkeeping records to ensure financial information is up-to-date
Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns to HMRC.
Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries.Requirements
Studying towards the AAT, ACA or ACCA qualifications.
Practice Experience as a Junior Accountant or Accounts Assistant.
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using IRIS Accounts Production and Sage advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; able to meet deadlines on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity throughout the year.Part Time applicants for this role may be considered
